Global Voice Group (GVG), developer of governance technologies for the telecoms sector, proudly announces its participation as sponsor of the Africa Telecom People 2013 (ATP), a major annual meeting of francophone Africa’s telecoms.
Over the past decade the ATP has annually gathered the main players in francophone Africa’s telecommunications sector. This high-level event provides a platform for entrepreneurs, regulators and government stakeholders to meet and exchange views and information. With the highlight of the event being the ATP Awards, acknowledging those making exceptional contributions in the areas of: innovation, initiative, entrepreneurship, development, and more.
Some 5,000 visitors and more than 500 telecoms professionals are expected to attend this event which will be held, for the third consecutive year, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, from 1st to 2nd October 2013. The organisers have also confirmed the participation of several very high-level stakeholders, including Dr. Hamadoun Touré, Secretary General of the International Telecommunications Union.
Founded in 1998, GVG’s advanced traffic, fraud and quality of service management systems are successfully used in several countries, including Congo-Brazzaville, Guinea-Conakry, Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, Liberia, the Central African Republic and Togo.
