“I was in Lagos for 2 days on a business trip. The entrance of the hotel is guarded so you can feel safer. The hotel itself…conforms to what Ibis brand is offering. The breakfast was good and tasty. There is nice swimming pool which is very enjoyable. The general manager is very friendly like the staff in general. I definitely recommend this hotel.”

“I was worried about the varying reports but as always made my own mind up. But, to help others (and balance out the reports) exactly as expected. Courteous reception. Clean quiet room. Very comfortable bed. Roomy shower. Breakfast buffet open from 04:00 which is just right for my 07:00 flight from the conveniently close airport. Minus? The surly kitchen chef…but wouldn’t you be surly at 04:00? Can recommend.” – Business traveller from Poland.

“Got a good rate through my company. Simple check-in. Very simple room. Exactly one coffee cup and one instant coffee sachet! 🙂 Coming from a long international flight and extra health checks at the airport, it was great to check in without any hassle. If you are not looking for luxury or high service, Ibis is quick and efficient. Would recommend as a quick first stop since its close to the airport. Definitely not for a long stay, since you will have to get to Ikoyi/VI for any social activity.” India.

“Still one of the best hotel in Lagos for short and long stays. The staff members at all levels are great and always want to see you happy. Still a great hotel… keep it up. The food is good (both local and international menu). Their Sunday brunch is amazing and live music always during brunch. Swimming pool area and sports bar areas are great for informal meals and drinks.” – Business traveller from South Africa.

“I stayed at the Intercontinental Lagos during August 2017 for business. Great place: good buffet food, well equipped and spacious gym, great views of the city, very nice room, responsive and professional staff. Definitively will stay there again! I have been to Lagos many times and this hotel is my preferred one because of the value/price. Recommended!” – Business traveller from Israel.

“Located not far from the airport, the Lagos Sheraton hotel is the appropriate place to stay especially when you have to fly to others cities. It gives you good services needed for a full stay with restaurants and most of all the dedicated staff always available to make your stay great.”

“I came here in April 2018 for business never having been to Nigeria before. The staff was kind and check in went smooth. First stop inside the hotel is Goodie’s bar that has the atmosphere of a small English pub which was pleasing. I had a beer to soak in my surroundings for a bit and then headed over to the Pumpkin Leaf for a buffet style dinner. The cleanliness, layout, and cuisine exceeded expectations and I was quite impressed. Afterwards, I went outside to have more drinks at the bar. The Sheraton did a good job setting up the outdoor accommodations and again I was impressed. After a few drinks I went to my room to turn in for the night. The room is comfortable, quiet, and clean which is all I could really ask for in a hotel. I would highly recommend this location for anyone visiting Lagos.”

“Stayed in this place three nights whilst on business in Lagos.
Very friendly atmosphere, and a lovely decor. When entering there, after a busy day, one feels like out a noisy city like Lagos.Rooms are comfortable, and wide. The view of the ocean is beautiful. Staff very friendly and professional.” Business traveller from Senegal.

“Very conveniently and safely located on Victoria Island with extremely spacious rooms, a nice breakfast and a driving/taxi service on the same property. Found it perfect for business travel. Note that there’s music on Saturday nights on the outdoor terrace and the café in the lobby doesn’t offer a lot of options and quickly sells out. I had a beautiful reflexology in the little salon on the first floor by a very qualified massage therapist and really enjoyed that. Wi-Fi works great, room service was nice and staff very friendly and helpful. Not only was the booking process fast and easy, they also helped me find a Catholic mass on Sunday. Wouldn’t necessarily stay here for a romantic getaway but found it perfect for a work trip.” Business traveller from Italy.

“A week in Lagos prospecting a new Market. Hectic and chaotic traffic from meeting to meeting. But the reward was at the end of the day, arriving at the Hotel: smiling faces, welcome feelings and a superb espresso at Cappuccino Café. Nice spacious rooms, good enough working area and a state-of-the-art bed, so comfortable that it was hard to get out in the morning!!! The restaurant, called La Brasserie, has a nice buffet, not really big enough to my taste or desire, but decent size. Waiters and Maîtres are very kind and attentive. About the staff, let’s say that they are nice and friendly from A to Z. Definitely, I will stay here on my next stays in Lagos.” Business traveller from Spain.

“It is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and both times I have been impressed. Great rooms/bathroom, Very clean and excellent service. Food quality and beverage service equally as good. Very convenient for airport.” Reviewer on business.

“The hotel is relatively close to the airport, which is a major plus considering the traffic conditions…The hotel is small but very cosy, the rooms are nicely decorated and have a wonderful open bathroom (room and bathroom were separated only by a curtain). The small but nice outdoor swimming pool is a perfect place to relax (a little bit small if you want to swim). The gym is also small (but it’s ok; as the hotel is having only a few rooms) but has a new treadmill and stepper as well as some machines and free weights. Noteworthy is the quality and attention of the service! Entering the hotel, you feel on a “peace island” in the middle of a very busy city!” Reviewer on business, from South Africa.

Staff are super friendly, food and drinks reasonably priced. Fitness centre on first floor is well equipped and there is also an outdoor pool and sun terrace. Highly recommended, if like me you prefer smaller, discreet hotels rather than the big chains.” Business traveller from Germany.
